Terms of Service
Effective: June 2, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of RideVerified.ph, a service operated by Helium Marketing Corporation (“HMC”, “we”, “us”). By using RideVerified.ph, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
RideVerified.ph provides:
- Free Valuation — an AI-generated price band for a Philippine used vehicle, based on inputs you provide.
- Verified Reports — paid reports that combine valuation, document verification (OR/CR), encumbrance checks, and notary-ready Deeds of Sale.
- My Garage — a personal vehicle log for reminders, service history, and document storage.
- Marketplace — listing and discovery of verified used vehicles between private parties.
- “Verified & Win” promo — a DTI-permitted raffle for paid transactions during the Pangasinan launch period.
2. Eligibility
You may use the Service only if you:
- are at least 18 years old;
- are a resident of the Republic of the Philippines, or are transacting on a vehicle registered in the Philippines;
- have the legal capacity and authority to enter into these Terms.
3. Accounts and Authentication
Some features require an account. You authenticate using a Philippine mobile number and a one-time password (OTP) delivered via Messenger, Telegram, or SMS. You are responsible for keeping your authentication channels secure. Notify us immediately at support@rideverified.ph if you suspect unauthorized access.
4. Free Valuation — Informational Only
Our Free Valuation is generated by an artificial intelligence model using current Philippine market context and the inputs you provide. It is informational only and is not a guarantee of resale price, an offer to buy, or financial, legal, or tax advice. Actual transaction prices depend on factors we cannot observe, including specific unit condition, demand at time of sale, and buyer negotiation. You agree not to rely on the Free Valuation as the sole basis for any transaction.
5. Verified Reports
Verified Reports are produced on a best-effort basis using public and contracted data sources, including Land Transportation Office (LTO) records and registries. Where a data source is unavailable, partially complete, or inaccurate at source, the report will note the limitation. Refunds for unavailable or non-delivered reports are governed by our Refund Policy.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- submit false vehicle information to obtain a misleading valuation or report;
- forge, alter, or misrepresent OR/CR, identification, or other documents;
- use the Service to facilitate the sale of a vehicle you do not own or are not authorized to sell;
- scrape, copy, or systematically extract content from the Service beyond personal, non-commercial use;
- interfere with the Service’s operation, including by attempting to bypass rate limits or authentication;
- use the Service to launder funds, evade taxes, or finance any activity prohibited under Philippine law.
We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this Section, with or without notice.
7. Payments
Paid Reports and partner subscriptions are processed by PayMongo Inc. Prices are quoted in Philippine pesos (PHP) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Receipts are issued by HMC for tax compliance.
8. Intellectual Property
The RideVerified.ph platform, software, design, and brand are owned by HMC. Content you submit (vehicle listings, photos, documents) remains yours; you grant HMC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, and display that content as needed to operate and improve the Service. We may use de-identified, aggregated data derived from your submissions to improve our valuation models.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Except as expressly stated, we make no warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that valuations and reports will be perfectly accurate.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Philippine law, HMC’s aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amounts you paid to HMC in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or (b) one thousand pesos (₱1,000). HMC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or lost data.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless HMC from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Service, or your violation of any third party’s rights.
12. Termination
Either party may terminate at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms. Sections 4–6, 8–13, and 15 survive termination.
13. Governing Law and Venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Disputes shall be brought exclusively in the proper courts of Quezon City, Metro Manila, except where small-claims jurisdiction or consumer-protection statutes provide otherwise.
14. Dispute Resolution
Before filing suit, you agree to contact us at legal@rideverified.ph and attempt good-faith resolution for at least 30 days. Claims under ₱400,000 may be filed in small-claims court without further notice.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified at least 14 days in advance via the Service and to your registered contact methods. Continued use after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes acceptance.
